Maintenance Pick/BASIC Applications

When I saw the Pick System running with my customers, sometimes they have the desire to change the application because think that it is too old, or it is too hard to make improvements in the system; in my experience, I found that is a most important tunning the current process than the improve on the technology. In fact, I found a very old code that is complex to give maintenance but always I found the best solution is improving the current process and give them more productive in the business.
